The restaurant "Esperança Verde", which opened in 1995, is the perfect place if you are looking for signature cuisine in the city of Braga. Chef Hugo Sousa reinvents Portuguese gastronomy, using local ingredients, respecting the seasonality of the products and avoiding food waste. Every two months, the menu is revised, adapting to the supply of products on the market.
Visitors have at their disposal two tasting menus (6 and 8 courses), where they can delight themselves with Portuguese flavors from north to south of the country. By Chef António Sousa's hand, visitors discover each dish's history and origin, as well as the best pairing suggestion.
Due to the high affluence, we recommend that you reserve a table in advance. The "Esperança Verde" is open between Tuesday and Saturday from 12:30 pm to 3 pm and 7:30 pm to 10 pm. The average price per person is 35€.
