The Vez Ecovia runs along the Lima and Vez rivers, in a total extension of 32,5 km. The route on the right bank of the Lima river goes from Jolda S. Paio to Gândara, parish of Santar, and passes through the parishes of Padreiro and Távora, where you can find the Padreiro and Toural farms.
On the right bank of the Vez River, the trail goes through the village of Sistelo to the village of Prova, in the parish of Paço.
Although some urban points are present during these crossings, they have a rural background and are surrounded by nature.
Along the way, you can enjoy the mouth of the Vez River, observe the several secular sidewalks, cross the town of Arcos de Valdevez, walk along the footbridges that lead to otherwise inaccessible places with breathtaking landscapes, and much, much more.
