Located on the dock of Viana do Castelo, with a superb view of the mouth of the river Lima, the restaurant "Maraberto" highlights the best Portuguese gastronomy through a menu dedicated to the best fish and seafood. In this restaurant, visitors will find fresh fish of the day to grill or boil, as well as a wide variety of seasonal seafood.
The rice of Santiaguinhos, combining monkfish and seafood flavours, seduces visitors from all over the country. However, it is possible to find other delicacies such as grilled octopus, “à lagareiro", or the clams "à Maraberto".
This restaurant closes on Thursdays for staff rest. On the other days of the week, it is open from noon to 3 pm and 7:30 pm to 10 pm. The average price per person is 25€.
