The Museu D. Diogo de Sousa it’s a Museum of Archaeology and was founded in 1918. Initially, it was installed in the Paço Episcopal Bracarense, but this location was changed in 2007 to a building especially designed to house the museums. The collection within are pieces found from excavations in Braga that range from the Paleolithic Era to the Middle Ages. There are many different events, temporary exhibits, and permanent exhibits.
