Casa da Terra is a restaurant and rural store located in the historical area of Ponte de Lima, more specifically, in a place of great historical and patrimonial importance for the town: the Antiga Cadeia das Mulheres.
Its space is elegant, having been wholly restored before opening, modern, and has a connection to its origins, with several inmates from the Viana do Castelo prison working on the decoration of Casa da Terra.
Its primary mission is to honor the dishes and products of Alto Minho and Ponte de Lima county. This way, it is possible to find several products from regional and traditional producers, such as wine, sweets, vegetables and fruits, and, clearly, sausages. You can also enjoy a fantastic brunch here.
The prices are in line with the quality of the products and the service is terrific. Open from 9am to 8pm Tuesday through Thursday, Fridays and Sundays until 9pm, and Saturdays until 10pm.
