The village of Covide, located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, became famous in 2020 for the similarity with the name of the disease that changed the world. However, there is much more to know in this Minho village.
The "Loja do Parque" is the visitors' paradise of this region. Here, you can know and taste the traditional products of Gerês, as is the case of goat cheese, the convent sweets, marmalades, homemade jams and, of course, honey!
If you are visiting the park, this store is an obligatory stop, either to take a souvenir home or to offer to friends. The "Loja do Parque" is open weekly between 10am and 8pm.
