Cascata de Pincães can be found in the middle of the National Park of Peneda-Gerês, near the village of Pincães, in the municipality of Montalegre, district of Vila Real.
Despite being hidden in the middle of the National Park of Peneda-Gerês, this easily accessible trail is exclusively pedestrian and begins in the village of Pincães.
As you walk along the trail, you will have the opportunity to admire some mill ruins and several waterfalls blended into the typical landscape of this green region.
When you reach the pond and the waterfall, you will then catch a glimpse of the waterfall that rises from about 20 meters and nourishes a small pond of translucent water, which is very tempting on a lovely sunny day. The ideal time to visit it will be spring since its beauty makes it one of the most frequented places during the summer.
