Miradouro da Pedra Bela

Pedra Bela belongs to the municipality of Terras de Bouro in the district of Braga and is currently one of the most popular places in Gerês. Located about 800 meters high, this viewpoint allows you to enjoy the stunning landscape around it: the mountain ranges, the Caniçada reservoir, the rivers Cávado and Caldo, and the stunning Portela do Homem (also known as Cascata de São Miguel).

This route in the heart of the Serra do Gerês, with a maximum length of 11 km, starts at the Pedra Bela viewpoint, follows an old trail through the mountains and the stunning Teixeira valley, and ends at Cascata do Arado.

To get to the Pedra Bela belvedere, you can go by car or bus from Braga.
