Located right in the center of the town of Ponte de Lima, for over 40 years, the Cervejaria Rampinha has been an iconic and mythical space in this town. Its area is small, but full of history and revolution; its walls are covered with images of the most significant revolutionary icons, such as Zeca Afonso, Che Guevara, and Charlie Hebdo, among others.
In this same space was present Camilo Guevara, Che's son, who, on a visit to the north heard about a revolutionary place known as the bar of "che" where he sat with Xaixa, the creator of this bar. In 2013, with the death of Xaixa, the Rampinha was not lost, having been reactivated shortly afterward under the management of César Monteiro.
Here you can enjoy various drinks, but the real specialty is the long list of craft beers, which are always accompanied by snacks. The prices are affordable, the service is welcoming, and every year, on April 25th, the music stops and the crowd chants the song of our revolution. Open every day from noon to 2am and Sunday until midnight.
