The Museu do Brinquedo Português, is the only one of its kind in Portugal and is part of the Casa do Arnado.
Very close to the famous and acclaimed Ponte de Lima, there is a permanent exhibition of thousands of pieces that portray the history of toys, originating in our country and dating back more than a century. In this museum, throughout a journey through Portuguese manufacturers, from the late nineteenth century until 1986, it is possible to observe and learn how toys were made in Portugal before the technological era.
This space is composed of two floors, where you can learn a lot about our culture and thus understand the path of the Portuguese toy throughout time. The museum also has a store where you will find authentic rarities and where you will also have the possibility to buy a souvenir toy.
