Once the Old Market of Guimarães, this space has now been transformed into a multi-functional art space that is dedicated to creativity and innovation.
It is home to three different arts organisations, the Creative Labs, the José de Guimarães International Arts Center (CIAJG) and the Emerging Ateliers.
The artist José de Guimarães has contributed the most important pieces of the three collections he has gathered for over five decades.
The collection is a stunning display of Pre-Colombian Art, Chinese Archeological Art and African Tribal Art, as well as works by the artist himself.
The Emerging Ateliers are creative workspaces for young artists and the Creative Labs are offices for incubating creative entrepreneurial projects.
This unique and vibrant space is the birthplace of many innovative ideas and attracts artistic minds from all around.
